Plot premise:
Anonymous fetus discovers a portal to the world outside of the womb through it’s mother’s belly button, using it to view different sights and sounds. The fetus is able to experience colours, textures, light and dark, music, language, whilst being connected to the mother and yet isolated from the physical world by being contained within this mother’s body. The audience sees through the eyes of the fetus via the camera and experiences a gentle journey of connecting sound and images.
Style & imagery: Loose, handheld, abstract, individual artwork pen & ink montage, scans, different light sources, textures, realism - people and places, bold colour - warm colour palette & hues. Variation of shots including extreme close-ups and long shots.
